Terms for using CitiesIsle

Agreement

By using CitiesIsle you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Place information

States, counties, cities, ZIP codes, coordinates, distances, flags, birds and other place information are provided for general reference. Boundaries, names, ZIP codes and coordinates change and may be incomplete or out of date. Verify important information with official sources before relying on it. CitiesIsle is not legal, real estate, financial, safety or professional advice.

Local business listings

Business listings may be submitted by the public, by the business, or by CitiesIsle. A listing marked "Unclaimed" has not been confirmed by the business owner. A listing does not mean CitiesIsle recommends, endorses, licenses or has verified the business, its work, prices or qualifications. Check any provider yourself before hiring or paying them. Any arrangement you make is between you and the business.

Promoted placements, where they appear, are labeled. They do not change how other listings are shown.

Submitting a business or a report

You must provide accurate information, avoid impersonation and submit only details a business would expect to be public. Do not submit fake businesses, spam, someone else's private information, or unlawful, deceptive or infringing content. CitiesIsle may review, edit, decline, merge, suspend, close or remove submissions and listings at its discretion, and keeps a history of changes.

You keep any rights you have in what you submit, and you grant CitiesIsle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, review, edit, publish, display and use it to operate the listing, the site and the SpiderTaz Network. Contact details you do not mark public are not published.

Acceptable use

Do not use CitiesIsle to harass, defame, spam, scrape in bulk, attack or overload the site, bypass security, upload malware, violate privacy or promote fraud. CitiesIsle may block access, remove content, preserve evidence or report activity to protect the site and others.

SpiderTaz Network and external links

CitiesIsle is part of the SpiderTaz Network and links to network sites, business websites and other resources. Some links may be commercial. External sites are run by their own operators under their own terms and policies; CitiesIsle is not responsible for them.

Intellectual property

CitiesIsle branding, design, code, text, maps, plates and other original materials are protected by intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated. You may link to public pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy the site, mass-scrape its data, or republish it as your own.

Changes to the site

CitiesIsle may add, change, redirect, suspend or remove pages, features, listings or policies at any time. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, errors or outages.

Disclaimer of warranties

CitiesIsle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability or security.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CitiesIsle and its owners, operators, contributors, partners and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from use of the site, its listings or linked resources, including dealings with any business listed on CitiesIsle.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold CitiesIsle and its owners, operators, contributors, partners and affiliates harmless from claims, losses and costs connected to your use of the site, your submissions, your violation of these Terms or your violation of another person's rights.

Updates and contact

CitiesIsle may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms; the date above shows the latest revision.
